in your bar will have the same great taste every time no matter who's
pouring. At the same time, your profits will soar. Since Precision
Pours eliminate overpour and spillage, you can expect to serve two
to four additional drinks per bottle. Precision Pours 3-ball liquor pours feature superior materials, superior manufacturing and four patented improvements. You might say, we've built a better mousetrap. Measured pour spouts have been around for some time and, at a glance, they all seem quite similar. That's why we'd like to peel back the veneer and look closely at just why the Precision Pours 3-ball liquor pour is the finest measured pour spout available.
Materials Some older style pours are made from recycled, reground plastic. Precision Pours are made using only virgin plastic, a far more durable material. Some older style pours also employ a polycarbonate plastic proven to break down in alcohol. We use no polycarbonates. As a result, a Precision Pour will outlast other styles of pours and continue earning you greater profits on every drink served.
Manufacturing Some older style pours are assembled using messy glues, and some of these glues have been proven to break down in alcohol. We assemble our pours using a patented locking system, avoiding glue altogether. The result is that a Precision Pour is less susceptible to breaking, particularly when removing the pour from a bottle. This saves you replacement costs and keeps the increased profits rolling in.
Patented Improvements Precision Pours feature numerous patented innovations, among them are: - A new valve alongside the main cylinder to prevent after-drip and eliminate waste.
- A primer ring to channel liquor around the inner ball bearing for a more accurate pour.
- Three ball bearings rather than the old standard two, for a smoother, more accurate pour.
- A new bottom design ensuring that the ball bearings will never fall into the bottle.
Precision Pour Spout Maintenance
Simple maintenance ensures peak performance and extends the
life of your pour spouts.
All measured pour spouts are vulnerable
to sugar build up on the ball bearings which will affect the accuracy of
the pour. This problem is easily remedied by regular cleaning of the pour
spouts. Cleaning pour spouts is fast and simple, here is what we recommend.
Soaking and Detergents
Soaking your spouts in a mild dishwashing detergent
for approximately fifteen minutes is all that is required to effectively
remove sugar build-up on the ball bearings. Strong detergents, sanitizers
and glass cleaners should not be used. Also, do not soak the spouts overnight,
this actually allows the sugars that were removed from the ball bearings
during the preliminary soak to re-affix to the ball bearings.
Water Temperature
Our rule of thumb is that if the water is too hot
to touch, it's too hot for the pour spouts. The spouts are predominately
plastic and water that is too hot can damage the spout. Because of this,
we do not recommend cleaning your pours in a dishwasher.
Rinsing
After soaking the spouts, simply rinse them in
cool water. We suggest reinserting the spouts in your bottles while they
are still wet. A moistened stem is easier to get into the bottle than a
dry stem.
